As a photographer my eye is constantly trying to track, follow, focus and catch that special moment. There are times when I have to stop photographing, so I can catch the beauty of the performance with mine eyes; setting the camera aside.
I love the human element of a photograph, where communication takes place between two or more people; they are being who they are and that is what comes through. This is what I search for in my images.
Walk around and shoot the image; take plenty of pictures. The final editing takes place in the darkroom or Photoshop. I am still using Photoshop CS5 and love it. Note to self: Wearing a white shirt can easily bleach out the face when trying to shoot in low lighting conditions.
