The story behind…”Dear Spirit.” The year was 2007, and I was enrolled in a photography/Photoshop class at the University of Washington. As part of the curriculum we had to learn how to develop images in the dark room using film and print paper. I decided to try a double exposure in the dark room with a window and my son’s face painted in all white; a deviation from the original assignment, as often happens. I was successful, but it took a day of trial and error before I got it right. Then I thought occurred to me. “If I can do this in the dark room – why not Photoshop, it would be so much easier!”
